Never a JW and before I knew what the JW was all about. I had a very large sign next to my door that said Absolutely no solicitation. For some reason theymanaged to target my house in the month of January well this is a very heavy TAX month and I work from home and my patience is all but gone. Single mom with 2 teenagers, who thinks I am their personal chauffeur on a moments notice while working close to 80 hours a week. I don't have time for some fools who as I open the door I point out very bluntly while pointing to the sign the library offers classes in reading, I am extremely busy in my office and I do not need what you are selling. Their response was we are here to share a Bible reading. My response find me 8 husbands to help keep up with all the stuff that "I" need to fix and do in this house and can't find the time to do. Boy did they exit the property fast.

When you were an active WT door knocker... How did you knock?

we just had a city worker come a knocking on our front door and my responce after she left was, she should go down to the local kingdom haul and give lessons.
her knock was so loud, she could raise the dead.

Hit by a car evacuating due to oroville dam. Ever been hit?
by Wasanelder Once inwent back to get info from driver who tapped our car in line of cars exiting the area.
after getting her info, she waited till i walked back to our car and punched the gas, hitting me.

Read that rediculous transcript the WT people have no clue how to come into a court room and tell the truth. What a joke.
The word is RESPECT if about a 100 years ago this organization started showing proper respect for children and women they might not be in this situation today. Just a Wordly Woman's point of view.

As a Wordly person, who watched every minute of the ARC and just read all of this, I am appalled by their behavior. The gymnastics that the lawyers and the judges must go through to get answers from these fools is insane. First he had no clue who the people are who publishes these letters and materials and who is in charge of the organizations then under cross examination he knew all the names wait is one of them. Just plain sick!!
The way I see it :
JWS say apostates are mentally ill.
Apostates say thosestill stuck in are mentally ill.
This Worldy lady says anyone who is not awake and holds a position of Elder straight up the line is mentally ill after these performances. These have been some pretty sick performances if you ask me. If what I have seen on the witness stands at the ARC and this and other trials is what the Witnesses have to offer it is pretty sad!! I sure would not want them representing any organization that I am involved with running or associated.
For any lurkers this is where your donations are going and I am mighty sure this is not the last one.
For those of you wanting to file a claim against the WT and CCJW pursue it into the court almost guarantee they will make fools of themselves.

In total agreement with you. Until I read the actual court transcripts or hear the news from the actual participants from their own mouth I don't believe a word of what the media has to say.
Here is a very true story as I knew several of the participants in this event. There is a very large mall in Washington DC (everyone is familiar with, it is the one they used for that how many attended Trump's inauguration picture). Back many years ago my husband and a lot of my friends were United States Park Police Officers, one day there was a demonstration on this same mall. Under normal conditions this entire stretch is only grass there is nothing but grass solid grass from end to end. This demonstration got out of hand and the police had to take measure to stop the fighting. There were horse mounted officers and officers on foot.
The sustained damaged to officers were as follows: one nearly lost his eye, one had to have major surgery on her elbow, one had to have major surgery on his leg from several breaks and many other officers were injured not as seriously. According to the media the protesters grabbed what was laying around to defend themselves and that was construction 2X4 with spikes driven through them. There are NO construction sites for miles around this mall. These protesters went to jail and did time.
I believe nothing in the media!!

The fact that different states have different laws about child sexual abuse is ludicrous it should be looked at pronto.
by smiddy init would go a long way in having a law that prosecutes anybody sexually abusing a child or even an adult that encompasses all states with the same laws the same consequences and the same penalties in the country.. this system that has different laws ,different penaltys , different outcomes depending in what state you live in is ludicrous.. one country should have the same judicial system no matter how many states their are in that country.. this state has mandatory laws this state doesnt and the outcome can be so demoralising for those involved ..

When you activity work with youth it really makes no difference where you are located because most times you just have a passion to see them succeed. These kids are as important to me as my own 2 children.
